THE MILL OF BELLERRE

 The mill is former to 1627. Its operation stopped in 1922. It was
restored by its current owner in 1958. The interior is arranged with
more close to the identical sight the found possibilities.

The rotation of the roof made it possible to direct the wings with
more close to the wind. The mechanism of action of the grinding stone
of crushing is very out of wood (notched wheel, arrived of the grain,
recovery of the flour.......). The adjustments of the grinding of the
grain was done manually by the ordering of a rudimentary system.

Thank you to have protected this inheritance.
 
The only mill of the Island of D which is equipped with its wings. It
was acquired by the current owner in 1955. This one is passonné water
mills or grain. Today 81 years old, it wishes to sell this property to
a purchaser who would take care well of them. The ground is wooded.
One finds there also plantations of all kinds and a swimming pool. The
various buildings are boxed in the ground to avoid the interferences
on the wind and the operation of the wings at the time of its
activity.
